RMP Acoustic Consultants and Building Performance Centre of Edinburgh Napier University have been involved in numerous research projects into building acoustics and noise-related issues. We have been the developers in new standards, such as Section 5:Noise (Scotland) and innovative regulatory compliance procedures such as Robust Details. The Building Performance Centre (BPC) is a research and knowledge transfer centre within the Institute of Sustainable Construction within Edinburgh Napier University. It has national and international recognised experts who cover a wide range of disciplines. Key functions of the Centre include:
