Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh
Winner of the RIBA Award in 2007 the Scottish Storytelling Centre designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects involved the redevelopment of the Netherbow Theatre and the creation of the new storytelling court.
RMP Acoustic Consultants carried out a full acoustic assessment of the existing theatre prior to its virtual demolition and rebuild and provided the full acoustic design with specific challenges on this project involving the incorporation of a picture window into the theatre and the control of structure borne transmission from the storytelling court.
