It was designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Event Communications, Magna is a unique science adventure centre built on the site of the former Templeborough steelworks in Rotherham. Constructed as a Millennium regeneration project, the centre involved the creation of four independent pavilions of hands-on exhibits, multimedia shows and exhibitions about the steelworks. The Air, Earth, Fire and Water pavilions each had their own particular requirements in terms of sound insulation and acoustic ambience for which RMP Acoustic Consultants provided the full range of acoustic services.
