Industrial projects RMP Acoustic Consultants consult on fall into two categories.
Firstly, environmental noise impact from industrial sources, either existing sources which require assessment and attenuation or proposed new industrial sources which require impact assessment and mitigation design; these assessments are generally carried out using BS 4142 as a basis. Secondly, the assessment and control of noise affecting employees within industrial premises. This is carried out in accordance with the Noise at Work regulations 2005.
