Our team at RMP Acoustic Consultants have a broad range of expertise covering sound insulation testing, acoustic design advice, environmental noise and vibration control, noise mapping, expert witness services and planning advice as well as training and research and development.

With thirteen core consulting staff and three associates we are the biggest team of acoustic consultants in Scotland and one of the biggest in the country. All of the acoustic consultants are members of the Institute of Acoustics and most our consultants are also accredited to carry out pre-completion sound insulation testing by the Association of Noise Consultants.

Our senior acoustic consultants undertake large scale research projects with national coverage assisting governmental and regulatory bodies such as Defra, Robust Details, House Builders Federation, Building Standards Agency, Scottish Government and others in developing sound insulation standards and regulations.
